Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kaoru Nagashima (ranked 5992 p4p, 2478 weight class) and Dino Ebedi (ranked 461 p4p, 268 weight class). Ebedi has chosen Moby Dick - Ugass kutya! as his entrance music. Kaoru Nagashima could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dino Ebedi's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kaoru Nagashima! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dino Ebedi! The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Chris Dean and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ebedi bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Nagashima's head. Ebedi tries a head kick but it misses.
Nagashima drops down looking for a counter takedown but Ebedi sprawls and moves away. Ebedi throws a head kick but Nagashima moves out of range.
Ebedi connects with an inside leg kick. Ebedi tests Nagashima's chin there with a solid looking shot. Ebedi connects with a good right hand that stumbles Nagashima. Nagashima circles away out of range and recomposes himself. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nagashima is defended easily by Ebedi. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nagashima dives in and scores a takedown into Ebedi's guard. Nagashima wants to pass the guard but Ebedi is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ebedi wants to stand up but Nagashima is controlling him. Ebedi had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Nagashima defends it easily. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nagashima accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Nagashima drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nagashima jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Nagashima throwing strikes but missing. We've been hearing that Nagashima has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Nagashima prevents Ebedi from getting back to his feet. Nagashima missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Ebedi pushes Nagashima off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Ebedi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nagashima drops down looking for a counter takedown but Ebedi sprawls and moves away. Ebedi scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ebedi throws a head kick that misses and Nagashima decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ebedi's guard. Nagashima drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Nagashima as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Ebedi screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Nagashima! Nice submission victory there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Kaoru Nagashima! In his post fight interview, Kaoru Nagashima started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
