Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Fuller (ranked 1394 p4p, 3169 weight class) and Marcus Megnus Maximus Jr Maximus Jr (ranked 204 p4p, 397 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Francis DeMontford and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus Jr is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fuller sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Fuller is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Maximus Jr knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Maximus Jr for a finish.

Maximus Jr with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Maximus Jr postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Fuller is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Maximus Jr, into his guard.
Maximus Jr has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Fuller is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Maximus Jr.
Fuller working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to John Fuller.
I think Fuller has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
