Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Junior (ranked 1670 p4p, 5544 weight class) and Nemesis Steed (ranked 214 p4p, 605 weight class). Steed has chosen The Heavy - Fighting For The Same Thing as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joe Junior! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nemesis Steed! The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Darius Henderson and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steed lands with a right hand. Steed lands with an uppercut that bounces Junior off the cage and back into range. Steed throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Junior counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Junior closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Junior lands in his opponent's guard. Junior looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Steed controlling Junior's posture. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Junior controlling from the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Junior lands a couple of elbows. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Steed can do anything to dispel that myth. Junior sitting in guard here, content to control. Steed looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Steed looking to hit a scissor sweep but Junior is one step ahead there. Junior is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Junior has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Steed wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Junior is now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Junior is taking a breather. Steed says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Steed won't allow Junior to pass to mount. Junior perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Steed is looking to control Junior's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Steed avoid being mounted? We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Junior seems to be working for a kimura but Steed defends the submission attempt. Junior in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Steed tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Junior!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Joe Junior! Our winner, Joe Junior, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans. Nemesis Steed spoke after the fight, saying 'He got lucky is all! The whole WORLD knows Nemesis Steed is the greatest of ALL time!'.
