Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jean Labosky (ranked 2662 p4p, 2257 weight class) and Arlo Rochester (ranked 289 p4p, 250 weight class). Rochester has chosen Self Taught- Brother Ali as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 28 - 49 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jean Labosky! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Arlo Rochester! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yuuki Gou and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rochester misses with a body shot.
Labosky appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Labosky has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Tran MMA Gym in the buildup to the fight. Labosky misses with a double jab.
Rochester appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Rochester throws a series of punches but Labosky moves out of range. A slow jab from Rochester misses its intended target. Rochester swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Labosky closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. We've been informed that Rochester has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Rochester is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Labosky connects with a nasty looking knee right to Rochester's face.
Labosky has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Rochester clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rochester prevents Labosky from getting a body triangle. Rochester trying to control the hands but Labosky breaks the grip. Labosky tries to get the hooks in deep but Rochester pushed the leg off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rochester manages to reverse the position and now he's in Labosky's guard. Nice work there by Rochester.
Rochester drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rochester jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Labosky wants to sweep here but Rochester controlling him for the moment. Rochester trying to control but Labosky is working from the bottom. Rochester postures up.
Rochester slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Labosky seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Labosky controls Rochester momentarily but Rochester frees himself. Rochester showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Labosky is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Rochester drops back looking for a leg! Labosky is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Labosky manages to kick Rochester off! Rochester jumps back into Labosky's guard. Rochester pushes down on Labosky's leg and manages to get into half guard. Labosky trying to control but Rochester postures up.
Labosky is staying active underneath Rochester, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Labosky knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rochester on the ground.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Rochester is looking for a kimura but Labosky is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rochester to get the leverage. Labosky is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rochester is looking for a kimura here.
Rochester is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Labosky sees it coming and defends easily. Rochester is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Rochester is trying for a kimura here. Labosky looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Rochester wins by kimura!
