Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Cobb (ranked 1802 p4p, 455 weight class) and Genghis Khan (ranked 63 p4p, 15 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tyson Cobb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Genghis Khan!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Richard Clark and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cobb gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

It looks like Tyson Cobb has been cut.
Khan lands a lovely overhand right.
Cobb feints and then cracks Khan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Khan down.
Cobb moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

It looks like Genghis Khan has been cut.
Khan doesn't manage to clinch there - Cobb circles away.
It looked like Cobb wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Khan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cobb.
Cobb wants to land a leg kick but Khan is out of range.
Khan wants to counter with a clinch but Cobb pushes him away.
Khan catches Cobb with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Cobb throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Khan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Cobb throws a right and a left that Khan avoids nicely.
Khan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cobb.
Cobb takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Khan paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Cobb tries to move into range but Khan moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Cobb lands a left and a right that send Khan crashing to the mat, dazed. Cobb thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Cobb throws a series of punches but Khan moves out of range.
Cobb takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Cobb lands a big right hand that sends Khan crashing to the mat! Cobb stays standing though and waves Khan back to his feet!

Khan is rocked!

That has opened up Genghis Khan's cut even more.
Khan slips a jab from Cobb.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Khan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cobb.
Cobb looks to score with a jab to the body but Khan is just out of range.
Cobb takes a swing at Khan's ribcage but misses.
Decent striking displayed by Khan there.
Cobb throws a lazy uppercut
and Khan counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Khan looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Cobb is looking to counter punch.
Cobb swings widly with a right hand
and Khan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Tyson Cobb's cut is getting worse.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Khan!
Cobb throws a solid leg kick but Khan takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Cobb.
Cobb throws a body punch but Khan moves out of range.

Khan clinches.
Khan blocking some punches.
Cobb wants to break free but Khan has control.
Cobb's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Cobb tries a body shot but Khan blocks it.
Khan gets through Cobb's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cobb manages to break the clinch.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Khan, as that shot connected.

Tyson Cobb's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Khan's jab looks to have found its range, popping Cobb under the eye.
Khan goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A jab from Cobb misses.
Cobb looks to land a left hand but Khan moved out of range nicely.

Khan lands a big right hand that sends Cobb crashing to the mat! Khan stays standing though and waves Cobb back to his feet!

Jeez, Tyson Cobb's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tyson Cobb's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Genghis Khan!
A very excited looking Genghis Khan made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
