Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Perrin Abarra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Garry Tonon!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abarra scores with a one two! Tonon had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Garry Tonon has been cut.
Abarra shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Abarra looks to land a strike but Tonon avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Abarra has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Abarra is looking to advance position but Tonon has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Abarra bucks Tonon off and manages to get back to his feet!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tonon with a lazy takedown attempt
and Abarra counters with a three punch combo that has Tonon backing up. Tonon nods at Abarra to acknowledge the strikes.
Abarra looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Abarra scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Abarra punishes Tonon's body with a nice straight punch.
Tonon takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Abarra lands a head kick!
Tonon misses with a hook to the body
and Abarra connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Abarra! Tonon is backing up but he can't get away as Abarra lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Tonon and ends the fight. Great knockout.
