Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between 3 Piece Soda (ranked 1478 p4p, 1665 weight class) and Brendan Quiniou (ranked 173 p4p, 190 weight class). Soda comes to the cage accompanied by 3 Nights. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quiniou connects with a good right hand that stumbles Soda. Soda circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Despite the aggression on Quiniou's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Quiniou has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Soda with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Quiniou to score with a decent uppercut.

Soda lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to 3 Piece Soda.
I think Soda has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
