Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gordon Ariitaia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Morble Schrudinger!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ariitaia is looking to slow Schrudinger down with leg kicks.
Ariitaia throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Schrudinger stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A solid leg kick lands there for Ariitaia.
Schrudinger dives in for a single leg takedown but Ariitaia sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Gordon Ariitaia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ariitaia scores with a hook to the body. Schrudinger takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Ariitaia throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Schrudinger.
Schrudinger feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Schrudinger wants to pass the guard but Ariitaia is keeping the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ariitaia looking to hit a scissor sweep but Schrudinger is one step ahead there.
Ariitaia seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

We've been told by Ariitaia's head coaches at Punch Out Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

and Ariitaia counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Schrudinger! He's just covering up as Ariitaia starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Gordon Ariitaia tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
