Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Manny Woods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marshall throws a one two combo.
It looks like Manny Woods has been cut. Woods throws a combination that misses and Marshall decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Woods's guard.
Woods is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Marshall cracks Woods with a solid left hand. Oh Woods is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Marshall seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Marshall lands a couple of elbows. Marshall landing some decent shots from guard. Marshall must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Marshall stays in close to Woods's body and controls the position. Marshall is in close to Woods's body, working some short punches and elbows. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Marshall working some strikes from top position. Marshall won't allow Woods to sweep him here. Woods working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Marshall has passed into half guard!

That's one minute gone in the round. Marshall winds up and cracks Woods with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Woods is in trouble now - Marshall has advanced to mount! Marshall wants to finish this one by submission but Woods is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Marshall. Marshall postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Woods looks a forlorn figure.
Manny Woods's cut is getting worse. Marshall looking for a guillotine from mount but Woods is having none of it. Marshall lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Woods hang on?
Manny Woods's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Marshall is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Woods is trying desperately to improve position. Marshall lands a nice shot to the head.
Jeez, Manny Woods's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Manny Woods's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Scott Marshall!
