Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimmy Lee!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Raminus Polus!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Polus counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Polus clinches with his opponent.
Lee tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Polus lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Lee misses with the head strike.

Polus jumps guard and drags Lee to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Polus is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Lee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Polus on the ground.

Polus is looking for a triangle but Lee pushes his legs off easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Polus has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lee can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jimmy Lee decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
