Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua closes the distance and clinches up with Munhoz, looking for a takedown. Rua pushes Munhoz against the cage but Munhoz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Munhoz keeps the fight on the outside.
Rua shoots for a takedown but Munhoz saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rua thumps Munhoz with a low kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Rua.
Rua stuffs the takedown.
Rua tries to close the distance and clinch up but Munhoz swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Rua's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Munhoz looks for a takedown but Rua sprawls well.

Rua drops down looking for an ankle pick but Munhoz pulls his leg out and moves away.

Munhoz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rua's waist but Rua gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Munhoz off to one side.

Rua lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Rua has Munhoz pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Munhoz manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Munhoz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Rua stalks Munhoz and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Munhoz's face. Munhoz staggers backwards, shaken.

Munhoz decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Munhoz seems to be looking for submissions.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Munhoz is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rua defends it well.
Munhoz passes to full mount!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Rua is looking for a triangle but Munhoz pushes his legs off easily.

Rua thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Rua bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Munhoz's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Rua looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Munhoz manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Munhoz escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rua gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Munhoz has his feet on Rua's thighs here. He's pushed Rua off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Rua screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
