Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Seamus Brady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karel Kaya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brady's entrance music is Killer on the loose. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Seamus Brady! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Karel Kaya! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kaya moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Kaya takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Kaya fails to land the takedown. Seamus Brady seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kaya gets the takedown into side control. Brady is letting Kaya control him for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kaya advances nicely into full mount. Brady squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Kaya wants to control the pace but Brady is squirming around nicely. Brady bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brady stands up and waves to Kaya to follow him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brady scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Brady is trying to control. Kaya wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Kaya has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Brady is working away from the top position though. Kaya might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Brady kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Brady looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kaya moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Kaya has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brady can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kaya looks gassed! Kaya being controlled here, momentarily.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Brady gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brady looks to land a combination but Kaya avoids it well. Brady closes the distance and clinches. Brady gets underhooks to prevent Kaya's takedown attempt.
Kaya gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Brady.
Brady pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Brady tries to land a front kick but Kaya steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Brady has closed the distance and engaged Kaya in a clinch.
Brady breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Brady gets a takedown into half guard. Kaya looking for submissions off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kaya is looking to improve his position.
Brady decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Kaya shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Brady counters by moving into the clinch. Seamus Brady has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Karel Kaya. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Brady taking a breather. Brady has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Kaya regains guard immediately. Brady stands and steps away. Kaya gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Seamus Brady dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Brady closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Kaya is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Brady postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Kaya to stand up. Kaya blocks a head kick by Brady.
Kaya gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Brady counters with a head kick. Brady thumps Kaya with a low kick. Kaya tries for a takedown but Brady circles away easily and Brady counters with a body kick that stops Kaya in his tracks momentarily. Brady misses with a wild combination.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kaya shoots in and bounces Brady off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brady is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Kaya wants to sweep but Brady has passed to side control! Kaya struggling a bit here. Kaya takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Brady lands a few punches from side control. Brady lands a decent elbow from side control. Kaya is looking for a sweep. Kaya is not content to let Brady control the position. Brady working the body and head with strikes. Brady has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brady rushes Kaya and presses him up against the cage. Brady breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kaya should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Brady doesn't manage to clinch there - Kaya circles away.
Brady keeps Kaya at a distance using the push kick. A decent looking body kick lands there for Brady. Brady fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kaya, pushing him back against the cage. A looping hook to the body misses from Kaya. Brady does a little dance to reset his feet. Kaya slips a jab and a cross from Brady.
Kaya with a poor takedown and Brady counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kaya won't be happy with that. Seamus Brady has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Karel Kaya. This has been an exciting period of action! Kaya regains half guard. Brady looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Brady passes to full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kaya tries to reverse the position but Brady maintains control. Kaya holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Brady tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Brady is in the full mount, landing strikes. Kaya is in a horrible position here. Brady smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Kaya throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kaya can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Seamus Brady dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Kaya avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kaya fails with the takedown and Brady counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Brady has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Brady stands up from Kaya's guard - Brady perhaps looking for a knockout. Brady looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Brady is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kaya is just riding it out for now. Brady eventually gives up the hold. Brady thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kaya's head. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brady prevents Kaya from standing back up.
Brady is trying to control the action in half guard but Kaya is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Brady prevents Kaya from improving his position. Kaya wants to control but Brady passes into side.
Brady has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Brady looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Brady throwing shots but Kaya is blocking nicely. Kaya is trying to control but Brady manages to pass to mount!
Kaya wants to control but Brady is having none of it. Brady is in the full mount, landing strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brady putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Kaya wants to control but Brady is having none of it. Kaya is trying to escape the mount.
Brady with a couple of short strikes. Kaya is working to get back to half guard.
Kaya is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Brady working for a submission but Kaya is keeping him at bay. Brady with shots to the head and body - Kaya looks very uncomfortable down there. Seamus Brady is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Brady trying to control but Kaya is having none of it.
And that's the end of the fight! Seamus Brady showed his dominance in that final round. Well Brady has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
