Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Christ Karter (ranked 645 p4p, 865 weight class) and Reijo Halli (ranked 80 p4p, 105 weight class). Halli is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Clint Eastwood - Gorillaz. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jesus Christ Karter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Reijo Halli!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab from Halli.
Halli takes a body punch but keeps moving.
A lazy left from Karter finds it's target.
Halli misses with a straight right.
Karter takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Halli moves away from the strike by Karter.
Halli takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Karter throws a hook but Halli avoids it easily.
Karter takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Halli clobbers Karter with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Karter fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Halli.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Halli misses with a left hand
and Karter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Karter ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Karter slips under a jab from Halli.
A jab from Halli does it's job there.
Karter misses with a hook.
Karter misses with an uppercut. Halli saw that one coming.
Halli is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Halli scores with a punch to the head.
Reijo Halli seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Karter keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Karter tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Halli manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Halli has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Nice defenses there by Karter.
Halli fails with the takedown
and Karter counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Halli looks to throw the jab but Karter is out of range.
Karter swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Karter throws a nice outside leg kick.
Halli misses with a low kick.
Halli gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Halli slips a straight right by Karter.
Halli avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Karter throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Halli on the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Karter throws a hook but Halli avoids it easily.
A little jabbing left from Halli on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Karter takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Halli cracks Karter with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Halli takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Karter thows a body kick. Halli tries to catch it but that hurt him.
A swing and a miss from Karter.
A lazy left from Karter finds it's target.
A big left from Halli misses.
Halli is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Karter had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Halli throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Halli moves out of range of the leg kick from Karter.
Karter needs to keep his hands up - Halli had a free shot at his head there.
Halli dives in and scores a takedown into Karter's guard.
Karter pushes a forearm under Halli's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Halli is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jesus Christ Karter!
