Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Harrington (ranked 3516 p4p, 3400 weight class) and Myles Ruth (ranked 440 p4p, 427 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Harrington!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Myles Ruth!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jonathan Paton and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruth lands a nice shot that snaps Harrington's head back.
Ruth scores with a nice right hand.
Harrington is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Harrington takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Harrington has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Ruth tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Harrington was well out of range. Poor timing from Ruth.

Harrington with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Ruth to score with a decent uppercut.

Harrington takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Harrington shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ruth napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Harrington creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Ruth sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The referee asks Harrington politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Harrington prefers to stall for the moment though.

Harrington throwing strikes but Ruth manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Harrington is trying to control Ruth's posture but Ruth avoids it.

Harrington is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ruth tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Harrington is not content to let Ruth control the position.
You can see the frustration on Harrington's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Harrington seems a little lost for a moment, as Ruth dominates the positioning.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ruth in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Ruth tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ruth has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Ruth is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Harrington is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Harrington is looking to reverse the position.
Ruth is looking to take a break and control but Harrington is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Harrington tries to bench press Ruth off him but Ruth keeps the position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Harrington has closed the distance and engaged Ruth in a clinch.
Harrington is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Ruth gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
The referee calls for Harrington to work.
Harrington wants to stall.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Ruth as Harrington tries to tie him up.
Harrington fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Ruth makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Harrington takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Harrington closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tony Harrington overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Ruth is staying active underneath Harrington, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Harrington is taking a breather. Ruth says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Ruth is trying to maintain the position but Harrington is very close to passing his half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Harrington is looking to stall here but Ruth recovers full guard.

Ruth is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Ruth is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Ruth is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Harrington wants to control from the top but Ruth keeps moving.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Ruth swats away the attempt to clinch by Harrington.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Myles Ruth showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Harrington doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Harrington tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ruth swats him away and circles back towards the center.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ruth! But no joy.
Ruth has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Harrington has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ruth is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Harrington is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Ruth clobbers Harrington with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Harrington tries for a takedown but Ruth circles away easily
and Ruth connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Harrington. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Harrington looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

A little jabbing left from Ruth on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Harrington changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ruth looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Myles Ruth is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Ruth moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Ruth throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Ruth thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Harrington got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ruth has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Harrington has managed to get both his arms back between Ruth's legs - danger averted.

Ruth has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Harrington can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
