Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Snappy Whiplash!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whiplash stuns Dixon with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
A big left from Dixon misses.
Dixon just misses with a punch to the body.
Dixon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Whiplash doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Whiplash scores with a three punch combo!
Whiplash misses with a jab to the body
and Dixon counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Whiplash staying out of range there.
Whiplash is looking to chop away at Dixon's legs.
Whiplash misses with a looping right.
Whiplash drops his hands momentarily and Dixon takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Whiplash is looking to slow Dixon down with leg kicks.

Dixon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Whiplash keeping moving, preventing Dixon from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dixon wants to pass the guard but Whiplash is keeping the position.
Whiplash is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Dixon wants to control from the top but Whiplash keeps moving.
Whiplash wants to stand up but Dixon is controlling him.
Dixon looking to sit in guard and control but Whiplash gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Dixon is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Whiplash defends well.

Whiplash postures up and lands a big shot to Dixon's brow.

Dixon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Whiplash controls the pace.
Dixon not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Dixon keeping moving, preventing Whiplash from controlling successfully.
Dixon has momentary wrist control but Whiplash slips an elbow through the middle.

Dixon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Whiplash doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Dixon is tightening it up a little... Whiplash has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Whiplash reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Whiplash taps out! Nice BJJ there by Dixon!

A very excited looking Darren Dixon rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
