Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles Tucker (ranked 1637 p4p, 3238 weight class) and Pinina Zhikova (ranked 211 p4p, 412 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charles Tucker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pinina Zhikova!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhikova fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tucker avoids it really well and circles away.
Tucker with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Tucker scores with a nice strike.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Zhikova.
Nice defenses there by Zhikova.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tucker, as that shot connected.
Zhikova closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Tucker quickly recovers to half guard.
Zhikova is taking a breather. Tucker says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Zhikova's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Zhikova is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Zhikova is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Tucker!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
It looks like Zhikova might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Let's hope that Zhikova has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Tucker stops Zhikova from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Zhikova.
Tucker is looking to get to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Zhikova trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Zhikova works his way to his opponent's back.
You can see the frustration on Tucker's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Tucker breaks Zhikova's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Zhikova pulls Tucker in close to his closed guard and prevents Tucker from doing any damage or advancing position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Zhikova is trying to keep Tucker in close.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Pinina Zhikova dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Zhikova doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Tucker counters with a stiff right hand.
A shot to the liver by Tucker. Beautiful body shot.
Zhikova shoots for a takedown but Tucker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Zhikova shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tucker sprawls well. Tucker wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Zhikova gets slowly back to his feet.
Charles Tucker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pinina Zhikova.
Tucker lands a slapping body shot.
Pinina Zhikova seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zhikova throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tucker's waist but Tucker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zhikova off to one side.
A left and a right from Tucker both land. Nice combination.
Tucker moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Zhikova tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tucker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Zhikova somewhat.
Tucker is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Zhikova can do to turn this around?

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tucker jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Tucker scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Tucker scores with a jab to the jaw.
Tucker fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Zhikova manages to avoid it.
Tucker bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Tucker goes for a small jab and connects. Now Tucker goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Zhikova stumbles back but Tucker runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Zhikova to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Zhikova will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Charles Tucker!
After the fight, Charles Tucker was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
