The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chay tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Jonsen is able to avoid easily.
Jonsen moves out of range of the body kick from Chay.
Chay on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Chay scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Jonsen dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jonsen misses with a series of wild punches.
A left lands for Jonsen.
Chay moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jonsen cracks Chay with an open hand slap.
Chay is rocked!
Jonsen drops Chay with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Chay! Jonsen dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Erl Jonsen!
In his post fight interview, Erl Jonsen started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
