Gracie's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Gang out. Big Dog Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Gracie tries to advance to mount but Schlaub denies him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Gracie creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Schlaub sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
