Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Petrov (ranked 2433 p4p, 1901 weight class) and Jack Tupp (ranked 252 p4p, 207 weight class). Petrov comes to the cage accompanied by They want too see me fall. The crowd seem to be enjoying Tupp's choice of entrance music: Black No. 1. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fedor Petrov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Tupp! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tupp forces Petrov back against the cage and clinches. Petrov wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tupp has him pressed against the cage. A head punch on the inside from Petrov fails to land. Tupp lands a shot to the body. Tupp blocks a body shot from Petrov. Tupp's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Tupp breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice body kick from Tupp. Petrov is breathing heavily. Tupp lands a left and a right that send Petrov crashing to the mat, dazed. Tupp thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Fedor Petrov has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tupp with a dominant takedown and that's winded Petrov. Petrov is looking to stand back up but Tupp counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Petrov.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tupp scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Tupp sitting and controlling from the half guard. Petrov looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Tupp is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Petrov wants to get back to full guard but Tupp has mounted him! Tupp looking to control and managing it successfully. Tupp's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's three minutes gone in the round. It looks like Tupp might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Petrov can't escape the position.
Tupp controlling his opponent. You get the feeling that Petrov really doesn't like being in this position too much.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Tupp controlling from the full mount. Petrov is working to get back to half guard.
Tupp content just to control the position here. Petrov is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tupp tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Tupp dominated that round. The cut man is working on Fedor Petrov's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Tupp tries to score a power double leg takedown but Petrov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tupp somewhat. Petrov throws a right hand that Tupp ducks under and follows up with a left that Tupp also avoids with ease. Petrov misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tupp.
Tupp throws a counter combo. Tupp avoids the body shot from Petrov.
Petrov moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromTupp. Tupp closes the distance and clinches. Tupp landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Tupp has been the more effective fighter overall so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Petrov tries to break free but Tupp pushes him back against the cage. Tupp breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tupp has closed the distance and engaged Petrov in a clinch.

Fedor Petrov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tupp keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Petrov swinging wildly here.
Tupp lands a left and a right that send Petrov crashing to the mat, dazed. Tupp thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Jack Tupp seems to be getting the better of the standup. The fight moves into the clinch position. Tupp lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Petrov backwards. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tupp breaks from the clinch.
Petrov swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Tupp counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Petrov falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
