Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manus Murphy (ranked 1656 p4p, 1479 weight class) and Vlad Dracula (ranked 217 p4p, 202 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Manus Murphy has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Manus Murphy seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dracula missing with a left hand there. Murphy was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Dracula loads up on a big right hand but Murphy slips the punch.
Dracula looks to land a left hand but Murphy moved out of range nicely.
Dracula throws out a loose jab but Murphy uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dracula throws a body punch but Murphy moves out of range.

Murphy ducks under a wild hook from Dracula.
Murphy is looking to clinch but Dracula is avoiding it.
Murphy looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Murphy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dracula throws out the jab.
Dracula throws a lazy right hand but Murphy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dracula has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

A telegraphed right hand from Dracula misses the target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Murphy moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

and Murphy holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Dracula looking to sit in guard and control but Murphy gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Dracula can't keep his opponent in guard - Murphy advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Dracula is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Murphy has latched onto it... Big trouble! Murphy pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Dracula is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Murphy!

A very excited looking Manus Murphy rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
Vlad Dracula was interviewed post fight and said 'My penis hurts'.
