Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Daral Thireloth (ranked 4425 p4p, 4467 weight class) and Joseph Laurinaitis (ranked 211 p4p, 213 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joseph Laurinaitis!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laurinaitis feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Laurinaitis throws a strike but Thireloth rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Laurinaitis can't keep his opponent in guard - Thireloth advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Thireloth is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Thireloth seems to be working for a kimura but Laurinaitis defends the submission attempt.
Laurinaitis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Thireloth. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Laurinaitis is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Laurinaitis is trying to control but Thireloth passes into side control!
Laurinaitis wants to control but Thireloth postures up.

Thireloth has an Americana. Laurinaitis didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Thireloth is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Thireloth hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
