Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Akio Kurosaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kuroda Atsushi!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Atsushi throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kurosaki sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kurosaki could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kurosaki misses with an attempted mid kick.
Kurosaki looks to land a body kick but Atsushi moved away.
Atsushi looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kurosaki looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Atsushi feints a counter leg kick.
Kurosaki throws a half hearted mid kick.
Atsushi only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Atsushi throws a half hearted mid kick.
As Atsushi backs away, Kurosaki returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Good work by Kurosaki as he checks the leg kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
A big left from Atsushi misses.
Kurosaki tried to counter with a leg kick but Atsushi avoided it.
Kurosaki attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Kurosaki checks a low kick from Atsushi.
And Kurosaki counters with a quick kick to the body but Atsushi blocks it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kurosaki tries to land a leg kick but Atsushi saw it coming and moves away.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Akio Kurosaki.
Well Kurosaki has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
