PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Damian Marley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, James Rage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marley drives through with a takedown into guard.
Marley tries to free his leg and advance position but Rage is retaining full guard.

Marley is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rage is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rage has escaped and now he's on top!
Marley wants to sweep here but Rage controlling him for the moment.

Rage really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Marley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Marley shoots in looking for a takedown. Rage tries to sprawl out of it but Marley keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rage manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Marley is pushing down on Rage's leg trying to pass to half guard. Rage is fighting to maintain full guard but Marley has managed to sneak the leg through.

Damian Marley showed his dominance in that final round.
