Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Corey McGraugh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Carp Chitlins!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGraugh wants to clinch but Chitlins slips to the side
and Chitlins counters with a stiff right hand.
Chitlins throws a jab but it's blocked by McGraugh.
Carp Chitlins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chitlins fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Chitlins lands a right hook to the body.
Chitlins lands a glancing blow to the side of McGraugh's head.
McGraugh steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Chitlins.
Chitlins throws a right hand that misses

so McGraugh counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
McGraugh tries to free his leg and advance position but Chitlins is retaining full guard.
McGraugh seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
McGraugh looking to pass the guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

McGraugh is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
McGraugh stays in close to Chitlins's body and controls the position.
McGraugh trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

McGraugh thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Chitlins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McGraugh. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
McGraugh is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
McGraugh works a leg free and moves into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
McGraugh content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
McGraugh is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

McGraugh is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Chitlins is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Chitlins flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. McGraugh anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Chitlins and secures both hooks! This could be bad! McGraugh slips an arm under Chitlins chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. McGraugh has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. McGraugh is squeezing on Chitlins like an anaconda would it's prey. Chitlins fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Corey McGraugh!
Corey McGraugh decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
