Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Morble Schrudinger (ranked 4379 p4p, 5233 weight class) and Orlando Jones (ranked 520 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones scores with a kick to the body.
A head kick misses from Schrudinger.

Schrudinger wants to slow Jones down by chopping away at his legs.

Schrudinger shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jones sprawls well. Jones wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Schrudinger gets slowly back to his feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Schrudinger.

Schrudinger shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Schrudinger circles away quickly and effectively.

Schrudinger really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jones buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Schrudinger.
Schrudinger drives through and clinches with Jones against the cage.
Schrudinger has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Schrudinger misses with a knee strike.
Jones content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Schrudinger jumps guard but Jones turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Jones manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Schrudinger throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Schrudinger goes for a takedown attempt but Jones pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Jones tries to land a front kick but Schrudinger steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Schrudinger shoots in looking for a takedown. Jones tries to sprawl out of it but Schrudinger keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jones manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Jones works the jab nicely.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Schrudinger throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
Schrudinger shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jones manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Schrudinger makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Schrudinger is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Jones has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Schrudinger has passed into side control.
Jones is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Schrudinger is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Jones is in all sorts of trouble here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Jones looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Schrudinger! Submission of the night perhaps?
