Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robert With!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Tarrent!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Eliza Hachem and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from With misses.
With feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Tarrent sprawling to the canvas! Tarrent rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can With finish him?!
It looks like Matt Tarrent has been cut.
Tarrent walks straight into a right hand from With - that's dropped him! With jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Tarrent from any more punishment! Tarrent complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Robert With!
Matt Tarrent spoke after the fight, saying 'My opponent was the better man tonight, respect to Him, i'm going to learn from this'.
