Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Wooldridge (ranked 24682 p4p, 6885 weight class) and Conor McNugget (ranked 0 p4p, 666 weight class). Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, John Wooldridge!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Conor McNugget !
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Phil Schofield and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wooldridge misses with a combination
and McNugget counters with a shoot takedown. Wooldridge fights it but they end up in guard.
Wooldridge is pulling down on McNugget 's head. It's preventing any offense from McNugget , at least for the moment.
McNugget is looking to work some ground and pound but Wooldridge has wrist control.
McNugget trying to control the position from guard on top but Wooldridge is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

It seemed like McNugget was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
McNugget rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wooldridge moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
