Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Donald Cerrone (ranked 4682 p4p, 4519 weight class) and Ryu Yamauchi (ranked 0 p4p, 373 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cerrone fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Yamauchi avoids it really well and circles away.

Yamauchi lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Cerrone sprawling to the canvas. Yamauchi follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Cerrone hang on?

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Yamauchi looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
