Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Huwan Bagwis (ranked 500 p4p, 297 weight class) and Roland Weudke (ranked 76 p4p, 40 weight class). Roland Weudke has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Huwan Bagwis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roland Weudke!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weudke takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Weudke takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Bagwis misses with a right hand
and Weudke counters with a solid body kick.
Weudke throws a nice outside leg kick.
Bagwis lands a nice looking body kick.
Bagwis throws a sloppy head kick and Weudke moves out of range easily.
Bagwis cracks Weudke with an open hand slap.

It looks like Roland Weudke has been cut.
Bagwis fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Huwan Bagwis will probably get the nod.

A nice side step and Weudke releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Bagwis can't find room to land a body shot as Weudke controls the action.
Bagwis keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Weudke's efforts to push away.
Bagwis swings wildly with an uppercut but Weudke uses good head movement to avoid it.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Huwan Bagwis.
I think Bagwis has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
