Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Tony Cornell (ranked 5501 p4p, 14716 weight class) and Dwan Diego (ranked 595 p4p, 720 weight class). Diego has chosen Jiu Jitsu as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Cornell!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 46 - 19 - 1, fighting out of London, Dwan Diego!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Cornell.
Dwan Diego seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diego throws a chopping leg kick but Cornell manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Diego wants to clinch up but Cornell keeps it at a distance.

Cornell throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Diego lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Diego drops his guard momentarily, allowing Cornell to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Diego! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Cornell takes it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 4, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Tony Cornell!

Our winner, Tony Cornell, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
