The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Porfirigo tries to clinch
and Tovington counters with a one-two to the body.

Tovington shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Tovington was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Porfirigo explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Porfirigo shoots for a double leg takedown but Tovington sprawls well. He's pushed Porfirigo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tovington misses with a series of wild punches.
Tovington lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Porfirigo circles away quickly and effectively.

Porfirigo gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Tovington to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Tovington is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Porfirigo has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Tovington should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Porfirigo has tightened it up now! Tovington should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
