Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wee Ning Tam!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson wants to clinch.
Ning Tam tries to counter with a clinch but Wilson shakes him off and moves away.

Wilson dives in and scores a takedown into Ning Tam's guard.

Wilson tries to stand but Ning Tam is controlling from the bottom.

Wilson has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Wilson wants to stand and escape but Ning Tam is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wilson is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Ning Tam postures up and lands a big shot to Wilson's brow.

Wilson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ning Tam manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Ning Tam fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wilson, pushing him back against the cage.

A close round but Wee Ning Tam will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.


Ning Tam has closed the distance and engaged Wilson in a clinch.
Ning Tam tries to pull guard but Wilson forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Wilson just misses with a elbow thrown towards Ning Tam's brow.
Ning Tam goes for a takedown in the clinch but Wilson prevents it.
Ning Tam tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Wilson smiles and moves away.
Jack Wilson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wee Ning Tam.
Ning Tam tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wilson swivels and escapes.
Wilson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Wilson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Wilson struggles to land a body shot inside as Ning Tam controls his hands.

Jack Wilson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Wilson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Wilson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

I would just about give that final round to Wee Ning Tam.
