Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Antoine Doinel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Harvey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doinel comes to the cage accompanied by Generique Et Car De Police. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harvey misses with a two punch combination.
Harvey missing with a left hand there. Doinel was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Harvey scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Doinel just misses with a punch to the body.
Doinel swings for the body but Harvey moves out of range.
Harvey misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Doinel counters with a single leg into guard. Harvey didn't expect that. Harvey kicks Doinel off and gets to his feet. Doinel takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Doinel with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Harvey is looking to clinch. Doinel walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Harvey throws a left and a right that both miss
and Doinel counters with a takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Harvey is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Doinel tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Doinel lands some shots froms side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doinel in side control lands a decent elbow. Doinel scores with punches from side control. Harvey is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Doinel working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Doinel throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Harvey is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Doinel has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Doinel throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Doinel throws a strike aimed at the side of Harvey's head but Harvey avoids it well. Doinel tries to move to mount but Harvey blocks the move with his legs. Doinel is trying to get an arm triangle but Harvey is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harvey wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Doinel working the body and head with strikes. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Doinel tries to advance to mount but Harvey denies him. Doinel misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Harvey prevents Doinel from improving position. Doinel landing strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harvey is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Doinel has just dragged him back down to the mat. Harvey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Doinel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Doinel throwing shots but missing, from side control. Doinel tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Doinel has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Doinel is chipping away with strikes.
Doinel tries to move to mount but Harvey blocks the move with his legs. Doinel looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Harvey is avoiding damage well.
Harvey prevents Doinel from moving into mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Doinel lands a few punches from side control. Doinel tries to move to mount but Harvey blocks the move with his legs. Doinel is breathing heavily. Harvey defending against the ground and pound. Harvey wants to get back to his feet. Doinel in side control, throwing shots but Harvey defends. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Harvey is trying to improve his position. Harvey struggling a bit here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Antoine Doinel dominated that round. That's time! Doinel's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Doinel misses with a wild body shot. Harvey takes a body punch but keeps moving. Doinel lands a body shot.
Doinel is looking to wear down Harvey with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. The fighters circling - Harvey throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Harvey misses with a series of wild punches.
Doinel is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Harvey. Harvey tries to clinch but fails miserably and Doinel counters with a slapping leg kick. Harvey looks for the body kick but Doinel saw that one coming. Harvey keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Harvey ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Doinel moves away. Doinel misses with a wild body shot. Doinel slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Doinel lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Doinel throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Harvey sees it coming and avoids it easily. A punch combination from Harvey misses. Doinel scores with a jab to the body. Good work by Harvey as he checks the leg kick. Doinel uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Harvey. Harvey throws a combination that misses and Doinel counters with a nice double leg into side control. Harvey won't be happy with that.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harvey on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Doinel has hold of Harvey's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Harvey seems comfortable defending it but Doinel has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Harvey is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Harvey is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Doinel couldn't care less - he's delighted!
