Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ortega crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Silver - the referee stops the clock and Ortega gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Silver. Ortega manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Ortega tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Good shot there by Silver. Silver throws a leg kick which misses Ortega's front leg but catches the back leg as Ortega tries to avoid it. Silver stuffs the takedown. Silver dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ortega. That did some damage! Silver connects with a high kick.
It looks like Tito Ortega has been cut. Silver pushes Ortega up against the cage in a clinch. Ortega wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Ortega blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Silver lands with a right to the head. Ortega wants the takedown. Silver is fighting it off but Ortega persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Silver's guard against the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! Ortega with a flurry of punches that miss. Ortega looks gassed! Ortega working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Silver working a defensive guard here.
Silver wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ortega stands up and waves to Silver to follow him. Ortega walks into a jab. Ortega throws a series of punches but Silver moves out of range. Silver fakes the leg kick and cracks Ortega in the body. Ortega tries for a takedown but Silver sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Silver connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ortega. Ortega circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Silver looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Ortega takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Silver dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ortega. That did some damage! Nice uppercut lands for Silver. That snapped Ortega's head back.
Silver closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Silver scores with a hook to the body. Ortega blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Silver fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
A looping hook to the body misses from Silver. Ortega does a little dance to reset his feet. Silver throws a nice head kick!
A head kick misses from Silver. Ortega fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Silver sprawls well initially but Ortega persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Ortega not landing any meaningful shots this time. Ortega thows a huge punch but Silver dodges it nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ortega tries to pass to full mount but Silver defends it. Ortega not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Ortega not landing any meaningful shots this time.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Silver lands a jab to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Silver fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Silver stuffs the takedown. Jack Silver has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tito Ortega. Ortega will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jack Silver is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Silver throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Jack Silver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ortega shoots in but Silver avoids the takedown attempt easily. Silver throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Ortega. Silver scores with a head kick.
Silver looks to land a combination but Ortega avoids it well. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Excellent takedown into side control there by Ortega. Silver is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Ortega off and has taken his back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Silver dominated that round. The cut man is working on Tito Ortega's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Silver lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ortega's sensitive parts. Ortega dodges the punch combination from Silver.
Ortega shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Silver as he jumps to the side. Silver connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ortega. Ortega circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Ortega will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. An inside leg kick lands from Silver. Silver throws a head kick that misses. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ortega. Jack Silver has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tito Ortega. Silver tries to clinch but fails miserably and Ortega counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Silver is trying to control but can't.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ortega is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Silver reverses the position - he's now on top in Ortega's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Silver would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Ortega looking for a guillotine here but Silver defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Ortega working for a triangle but Silver defends it easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ortega is looking to stand up but Silver isn't so interested in that idea.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Silver fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ortega drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Ortega stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silver swivels though and keeps the full guard. Silver is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ortega postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Silver is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ortega, into his guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ortega will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tito Ortega showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Tito Ortega's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Ortega has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Ortega looks to land a combination but Silver avoids it well. Silver throws a series of punches but Ortega avoids them all with ease. Silver lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Silver with a jab. Excellent takedown into side control there by Ortega. Ortega in side control, throwing shots but Silver defends. Ortega misses with the ground and pound. Ortega working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ortega throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Ortega tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Ortega throws an elbow but Silver slips to the side and avoids it well. Ortega goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Silver rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Ortega's guard! Nice work there by Silver! Silver is looking to stand up but Ortega won't let him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Silver throws a leg kick which misses Ortega's front leg but catches the back leg as Ortega tries to avoid it. Jack Silver is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A chopping leg kick lands by Silver. Ortega closes the distance and clinches. A head punch on the inside from Silver fails to land. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Silver. Ortega tries for a takedown but Silver manages to get underhooks.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Silver stops a takedown attempt from Ortega.
Silver misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Silver is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Silver manages to break the clinch.
Silver throws a leg kick which misses Ortega's front leg but catches the back leg as Ortega tries to avoid it. Silver tries to bum rush Ortega with a series of wild strikes but Ortega uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Silver buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Silver throws a sloppy head kick and Ortega moves out of range easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silver stuffs the takedown attempt from Ortega. Ortega gets slowly back to his feet. Jack Silver has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tito Ortega. Silver throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ortega counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Ortega missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Ortega seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Silver has recovered full guard. Ortega stands up over Silver, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ortega drops back looking for a leg! Silver is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Silver manages to kick Ortega off! Ortega jumps back into Silver's guard. Silver might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ortega throws and elbow that misses. Silver uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ortega's guard. Nice move by Silver! Ortega is looking for a triangle but Silver pushes his legs off easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Tito Ortega comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Ortega has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
