Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, AT Seven!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, AT Six!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
No luck for Six with that takedown attempt.
Seven appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Six gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Seven counters with a single leg into guard. Six didn't expect that.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Seven controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Seven pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Six is keeping the position for now.
Six pulls Seven in to control the position.
Seven trying to control the position from guard on top but Six is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Six can do anything to dispel that myth.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Six is on top in guard.


That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Six trying to control but Seven is working from the bottom.
Six postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Six is fighting to break Seven's control of his arms but Seven is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Six would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Six seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Seven throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to AT Seven.
I think Seven has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
