Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shock Linewood (ranked 2374 p4p, 2651 weight class) and Bea Mason (ranked 315 p4p, 344 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 17 - 1, fighting out of London, Shock Linewood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bea Mason!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mason will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bea Mason seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mason shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Mason was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Linewood definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Linewood is looking to reverse the position.
Mason trying to control the position but Linewood is working away.
Linewood is trying to control Mason's posture but Mason avoids it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Linewood dodges the ground and pound from Mason.
Linewood is not content to let Mason control the position.
Mason might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Linewood haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Linewood is looking to regain half guard here but Mason keeps moving and retains side control.
Linewood is working hard here to advance position.
Linewood parries the strikes from Mason easily there. Mason is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Linewood to escape.

Mason tries for a kimura but Linewood is defending well.
Linewood manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Linewood wants to pass the guard but Mason is defending well.
Linewood is keen to just control but Mason is a slippery customer.
Linewood wants to advance to full mount but Mason doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Linewood slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Linewood has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Mason is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Linewood yanks on the arm and Mason is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Linewood.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Shock Linewood!
After winning the bout, Shock Linewood thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
