And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ben Pole!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pole thows a body kick. Hog tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Pole displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Hog scores with a nice right hand.

It looks like Ben Pole has been cut.
Pole throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Hog keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Hog swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Pole.
Pole tries to clinch but Hog is having none of it.
We've been informed that Pole has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Pole is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hog jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Pole lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Pole slips a straight right by Hog.

Pole moves into range and clinches up with Hog.
Hog managing to block the knees to the body from Pole.
With the fighters up against the cage, Hog throws an elbow but misses.
Pole takes a shot to the head.

Hog breaks the clinch.
Pole blocks a jab.

Pole instigates a clinch.
Hog avoiding damage as Pole throws knees to the body.
Pole lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Hog looking to slow down the pace here.
Pole tries to land knees in the clinch but Hog avoids the damage to the body.

Hog scores with a shoulder strike.
Pole missing with knees to the body.
Hog avoiding damage as Pole throws knees to the body.
Nice elbow from Hog.

Hog escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hog cracks Pole with a hook to the temple - Pole is on wobbly legs here! Hog swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Pole falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Hog wins by TKO!
