Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Paul Webber (ranked 6105 p4p, 5245 weight class) and Dhaahir Kaalim (ranked 250 p4p, 228 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Paul Webber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dhaahir Kaalim!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Webber tries to clinch but Kaalim moves out of range.

Kaalim feints and as Webber raises his hands in defense, Kaalim changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Kaalim chips away with some ground and pound.

Webber throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Kaalim postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Webber has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kaalim can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Kaalim slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Kaalim postures up in Webber's guard and throws a big left but Webber blocks it.
Kaalim slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Kaalim is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Webber will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Kaalim is trying to get an arm triangle but Webber is defending well.
Webber tries to buck Kaalim off but Kaalim is having none of it.

Kaalim advances nicely into full mount.
Webber is wriggling around trying to escape.

Kaalim with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Kaalim tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Kaalim thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Kaalim sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Kaalim content just to control the position here.
Let's hope that Kaalim has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Webber looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

It looks like Kaalim might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kaalim lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Webber hang on?
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Dhaahir Kaalim dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Kaalim shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Webber napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Kaalim takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Poor strikes thrown by Kaalim there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Kaalim has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kaalim lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Webber is trying to escape the mount.
Webber is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Kaalim working the ground and pound effectively.
Webber taking shots to the head.
Webber is looking to improve his position but Kaalim isn't that keen on the idea.
Kaalim unloads with some shots from mount but Webber bucks and avoids them well.
Dhaahir Kaalim has got the better of the ground game so far.
Kaalim is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Webber can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Webber is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kaalim gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Oh Webber is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kaalim throws a head kick that misses.

Kaalim shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Webber is on queer street and Kaalim is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Dhaahir Kaalim!
Dhaahir Kaalim decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
