Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shamus Clarke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nobuhito Inoue!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Jorge Garcia and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Inoue.
Inoue clinches up with Clarke and pushes him back against the cage.
Clarke jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Inoue walks away with a smile on his face. Clarke gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Inoue tries to circle away but Clarke has him pinned against the cage.
Clarke tries to pull guard but Inoue won't allow it.
Inoue blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Clarke pulls Inoue into guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clarke is working an open guard so Inoue takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Inoue looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Clarke is fending him off so far but Inoue persists. Nope, Clarke circles away and we're back to standing.
Clarke has taken the fight to the clinch.
Clarke fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

A nice right hand lands inside from Inoue.
