Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Abdullah Zaire (ranked 2794 p4p, 2126 weight class) and Barry Kingsmill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Barry Kingsmill!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaire misses with a kick to the body.
Zaire scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kingsmill doesn't seem bothered though.
Kingsmill shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Zaire as he avoids it easily.
Zaire lands with a nice body punch.
Kingsmill has his takedown stuffed
and Zaire counters with a left to the body.

Zaire wants to land a leg kick but Kingsmill is out of range.
Kingsmill tries to close the distance and clinch but Zaire swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kingsmill will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
It looked like Zaire was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Kingsmill.
Zaire tests Kingsmill's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Zaire pounces like a tiger and cracks Kingsmill with a vicious hook! Kingsmill is down but not out! Zaire follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

After winning the bout, Abdullah Zaire thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
