Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uncle Abner (ranked 5673 p4p, 4361 weight class) and Frank Kurschmann (ranked 522 p4p, 436 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Uncle Abner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Kurschmann! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kurschmann misses with a takedown attempt - Abner sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Kurschmann misses with a takedown
and Abner counters with a crisp one two that drops Kurschmann! Abner thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Kurschmann to his feet! Kurschmann is in big trouble! Abner swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Abner swings for the body but Kurschmann moves out of range.
Abner stuffs the takedown. Abner appears to be looking for a big counter. Uncle Abner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Kurschmann. Abner stuffs the takedown. Abner throws a head kick but Kurschmann moves out of range.
Kurschmann will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kurschmann shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Abner pinned against the cage. Abner gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kurschmann has his takedown stuffed and Abner counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Kurschmann looks winded! Abner throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Abner looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Abner backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Kurschmann's temple! It sends Kurschmann violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Abner celebrates and the doctors try to help Kurschmann!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Uncle Abner! Uncle Abner really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Glomco Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
