Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vinny Tulip (ranked 3783 p4p, 5136 weight class) and Leo Robins (ranked 460 p4p, 574 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vinny Tulip! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Leo Robins! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, John Mangel and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robins tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tulip swats him away and circles back towards the center. Robins gets in close and instigates a clinch. Robins pulls Tulip into guard.
Tulip gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Robins tries for a takedown but Tulip circles away easily and Tulip counters with a stiff right hand. Tulip defending well as Robins loads up on a big left hand. Robins misses with a right hand and Tulip counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Robins misses with a double jab
and Tulip counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Robins thinking. Tulip scores with a nice head shot. Robins doesn't succeed with the takedown and Tulip counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Robins clinches up with Tulip and pushes him back against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tulip pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Robins closes the distance looking to clinch and Tulip counters with a straight right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Robins misses with a takedown and Tulip counters with a nice uppercut. Vinny Tulip has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leo Robins. Robins misses with a lunging right hand
and Tulip counters with a right hand to the body. Robins tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. As Robins backs away, Tulip returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Robins looks winded! Robins throws a lazy head kick and Tulip makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Robins tries to clinch but Tulip moves out of range. It looks like Leo Robins has been cut. Tulip looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Tulip paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Robins clinches. Tulip pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Robins tries to clinch and Tulip counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Robins thinking. Tulip fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Robins is out of range. Robins looks to clinch and Tulip counters with a one-two to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Robins looks to clinch and Tulip connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Robins gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Tulip scores with the left hand. Robins knows he should have avoided that one. Robins moves to clinch but Tulip breaks away and Tulip counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Jab from Tulip.
Robins is rocked! Leo Robins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Robins moves out of range of the body kick. Robins tries to clinch and Tulip counters with a stiff right hand. Robins is still on wobbly legs! Can Tulip finish him? Robins with a lazy takedown attempt and Tulip counters with a straight right hand. Tulip lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Oooooh!!! Tulip has knocked Robins down with a huge combo! Tulip steps away and waves a wobbly Robins back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Robins throws a lazy head kick and Tulip counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Robins off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Tulip follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Robins was out before he hit the floor.
