Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sutarjo Sukarman (ranked 25054 p4p, 25092 weight class) and William Thompson Iv (ranked 738 p4p, 703 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sutarjo Sukarman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, William Thompson Iv! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Illya Tyunina and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thompson Iv dives in and grabs Sukarman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sukarman pushes down on Thompson Iv's head and hops out. Sukarman seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Sukarman throws a nice looking combination but Thompson Iv bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Thompson Iv cracks Sukarman with a good jab. Thompson Iv shoots in for a takedown but Sukarman shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Sukarman walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Thompson Iv has his takedown stuffed and Sukarman counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Sukarman. Sutarjo Sukarman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William Thompson Iv. Sukarman avoids a wild elbow strike from Thompson Iv. A short uppercut from Sukarman. Sukarman pulls Thompson Iv into guard.
Sukarman manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Thompson Iv manages to get himself to full guard.
Sukarman thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sukarman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sukarman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sukarman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Sukarman working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Thompson Iv working a defensive guard but Sukarman manages to pass into side control anyway.
Sukarman has knee on belly and moves into mount. Sukarman looking to control and managing it successfully. Thompson Iv really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sukarman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thompson Iv wants to hold on but Sukarman pushes him away. Sukarman tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Sukarman working for a guillotine from mount but Thompson Iv is in no mood to give up. Sukarman controlling from mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sukarman landing strikes from the mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sukarman throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Thompson Iv has his hands clasped together but Sukarman breaks the hold and Thompson Iv is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Sukarman!
