Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Adam Johnson (ranked 551 p4p, 662 weight class) and Abduwali Hassan (ranked 71 p4p, 82 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Abduwali Hassan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Abduwali Hassan!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hassan has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Johnson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Johnson moves forwards but Hassan connects with a nice, crisp jab.

A relieved looking Abduwali Hassan thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
