Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dominic Gotti (ranked 317 p4p, 72 weight class) and Peleki Tuala (ranked 48 p4p, 10 weight class). Gotti 's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, King Of Kings. Tuala has chosen Dock of Fiji as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tuala ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gotti moves away.
Gotti dips to his left and cracks Tuala with an uppercut!

Tuala scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Gotti fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tuala looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Gotti tries to move into range but Tuala moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Gotti takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Gotti stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Tuala.
Tuala gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gotti connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tuala. Tuala circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Tuala bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Tuala doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Tuala bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Tuala throws a leg kick but Gotti checks it.

Tuala uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Tuala has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

A nice side step and Tuala releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Gotti swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Tuala blocks a low kick nicely.

and Tuala counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Tuala takes a swing at Gotti 's ribcage but misses.
Tuala thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Gotti if he has to take too many more of those.
Dominic Gotti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gotti throws a half hearted mid kick.
Gotti lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tuala circles away quickly and effectively.

Gotti is breathing heavily.
Tuala lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Tuala scores with a nice head shot.
Tuala connects with a solid leg kick.
Tuala cracks Gotti with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Tuala is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Gotti had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Crack! Tuala connects with the perfect overhand right and Gotti falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Tuala!
