Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Howlett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taison Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taison Silva will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, James Howlett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Taison Silva!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Mauricio Rocha and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Howlett pinned against the cage. Howlett gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Howlett looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Howlett thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Silva's head.
Howlett takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Howlett is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Silva doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Howlett.
Howlett passes into side control, despite Silva's attempt to control the position.
Silva tries to bench press Howlett off him but Howlett keeps the position.
Silva is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
You can see the frustration on Silva's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Howlett has an Americana. Silva didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Howlett is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Howlett hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). James Howlett!
