Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Milhouse VanHouten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorma Teras (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Milhouse VanHouten! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jorma Teras! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! VanHouten misses with a few strikes there.
VanHouten looks to land a combination. Teras sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Jorma Teras has been cut. VanHouten bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Teras's head. VanHouten stuffs the takedown attempt from Teras. Teras gets slowly back to his feet. VanHouten throws a body kick that misses. VanHouten misses the jab. Teras slips under a jab. VanHouten displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. VanHouten lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Teras circles away quickly and effectively. VanHouten throws a series of strikes that have Teras backpedaling.
Teras tries for a takedown but VanHouten sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Teras closes the distance and clinches up with VanHouten, looking for a takedown. Teras pushes VanHouten against the cage but VanHouten circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Milhouse VanHouten has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jorma Teras. Teras closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. VanHouten tries to improve position but can't. Teras swings around for an armbar but VanHouten sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Teras's guard. Teras is looking to sweep but instead, VanHouten has passed into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. VanHouten trying to control the action but Teras is working from the bottom. Teras looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Teras looks gassed! VanHouten frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Teras keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. VanHouten has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. VanHouten's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Teras is looking to improve his position but VanHouten isn't that keen on the idea. VanHouten looking to ground and pound but Teras is blocking nicely. Teras is looking to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. VanHouten tries to control but Teras wriggling away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Teras is wriggling around trying to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. VanHouten working away from the top, dropping strikes. Teras tries to reverse the position but VanHouten maintains control. VanHouten controlling from mount. VanHouten lands a heavy elbow. VanHouten knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Teras on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Teras is looking to get to half guard. VanHouten sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Teras is in all sorts of trouble here.
VanHouten lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. VanHouten sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Teras is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Milhouse VanHouten dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jorma Teras's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
VanHouten scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. VanHouten digs a good hook to Teras's body.
VanHouten cracks Teras with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. VanHouten misses with a few strikes there.
VanHouten fails to land with a series of punches.
Teras shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with VanHouten but VanHouten pushes him off and we're back to square one. A left and a right from VanHouten both land. Nice combination. VanHouten tries to bum rush Teras with a series of wild strikes but Teras uses good footwork to avoid the assault. VanHouten displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! VanHouten throws a one two combo.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from VanHouten! Teras is out on his feet! VanHouten rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Teras is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Teras is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
