These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Lama closes the distance and clinches.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lama has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Lama wants the takedown. Peter is fighting it off but Lama persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Peter's guard against the cage.
Lama lands a couple of digs.

Peter has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Lama doesn't defend quickly enough and Peter has managed to lock this one up! Can Lama escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Peter on a fantastic submission victory.
