Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Simon Hedegaard (ranked 2164 p4p, 5947 weight class) and Freddy Jackson (ranked 289 p4p, 626 weight class). Jackson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Your gonna pay. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson stuffs the takedown attempt from Hedegaard. Hedegaard gets slowly back to his feet.
Jackson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hedegaard tries to avoid it but Jackson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hedegaard to the ground. Hedegaard escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hedegaard throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jackson was covering up waiting for the punch and Hedegaard finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Hedegaard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Jackson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hedegaard has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jackson has managed to get both his arms back between Hedegaard's legs - danger averted.
