Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yoji Anjo Anjo (ranked 2801 p4p, 2467 weight class) and Chief Walker (ranked 362 p4p, 324 weight class). Yoji Anjo Anjo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yoji Anjo Anjo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Walker! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anjo walks into a left hand.
It looks like Yoji Anjo Anjo has been cut. Anjo is looking to clinch but Walker is avoiding it.
Walker misses with the combination.
Walker gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Walker uses the cage to get back to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Walker is looking to slow Anjo down with leg kicks. Anjo closes the distance and clinches. Anjo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Anjo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Walker was covering up waiting for the punch and Anjo finishes the takedown easily into guard. Walker wants to get back to his feet but Anjo passes into half guard.
Anjo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Walker defends it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anjo is looking to take a break and control but Walker is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Anjo slips a nice elbow through Walker's hands, connecting with Walker's forehead. Walker wants to get back to his feet. Anjo thows a huge punch but Walker dodges it nicely.

Anjo seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Walker has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Walker working away. Anjo is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Walker decides to stand back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walker delivers a nice body kick. Anjo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Walker manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Walker lands a glancing blow to the side of Anjo's head. Walker displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Anjo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Walker's waist but Walker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Anjo off to one side. Walker closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A short right from Walker on the inside. Walker prevents Anjo from breaking the clinch. Walker misses with a hook from the clinch. Walker lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Anjo backwards. Anjo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A jab-cross combination lands for Walker and sends Anjo crashing to the mat! Walker follows him down to the mat - Anjo regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Anjo is rocked! The fighters are battling for position here. Anjo manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Walker trying to stand up but can't free himself from Anjo's guard. Walker gets to his feet. Anjo looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Walker lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Anjo falls backwards - clearly groggy! Walker dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chief Walker! An out of breath Chief Walker thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career. Yoji Anjo Anjo was interviewed post fight and said 'I feel good! '.
